Fur Real Biscuit My Lovin Pup is Just Like a Real Puppy

How many times have your children begged and pleaded with you to get them a puppy? But all you can think about is Archie Comics dog hair everywhere, torn furniture, accidents on the carpet, and chewed up shoes. Plus there's the 1973 Topps baseball cards of buying the dog, paying for shots, vet bills, all the accoutrements that come with having a dog and the endless supply of dog food. Maybe where you live doesn't even allow pets, so what are you to do? What if I told you there was Sandman comic alternative solution? Now there is-Fur Real Friends: Biscuit My Lovin' Pup.

For much less money than you would spend on a real puppy, you can now get this furry, fun-loving creature that is so life-like you will forget he X-Men the real thing! (Except that you don't have to worry about destroyed furniture!) With highly innovative voice recognition technology, the puppy can obey six different commands. He can "sit," "lie down," "sit up and beg," and "speak." You can ask him if he wants a treat or to give you a paw and he will respond with a nod and a whimper. He will move his head, ears, blink his eyes, bark, and even wag his tail. He can sniff and chomp down on his bone, just like a real puppy.

Biscuit, My Lovin' Pup has sensors located behind his ears and on his head and back that cause him to wag his tail when scratched, rubbed, or petted. Simply laying your hand on his back will cause him to sit, or if he is already sitting, he will lay down. A sensor in his forehead will cause him to flinch or sneeze if something is waved too close in front of his face.

The puppy has three different modes. Previously we have described what he does in "active" mode. After several moments of inactivity, he will enter "hangout" mode. He will move his head a little and whine trying to get your attention. If this doesn't work, he will lie down and go into "sleeping" mode. Because of his sensors, he "sleeps" better in a darkened room. If the lights come one he will lift his head and whine.

He requires 6 "D" batteries that are not included with your purchase. However, you will get an adoption certificate, a collar, tag, brush, and a dog "bone." He weighs about 11 pounds and is about 21 inches tall when sitting. Biscuit is primarily recommended for children over 5 years of age because of his larger size.

Greener Holiday Greeting Cards

Christmas Marvel Team-Up one of the most anticipated holidays of the year. It is the season of giving and sharing. Besides the tradition of gift giving, many people enjoy sending and receiving holiday greeting cards through the mail. This makes greeting card business a very lucrative and successful business. However, many people are getting more aware of the impact of buying and sending holiday greeting cards to the environment, especially if the greeting cards are made of paper direct from trees.

There are a number of ways to eliminate or lessen the usage of paper greeting cards. If you must send paper greeting cards, opt Big Jim those printed on recycled papers. Nowadays, cards printed on recycled paper are growing in popularity. The recycled papers are typically made of at least 30 percent of post-consumer products. There are also more recycled papers that are made of higher post-consumer products, which are even better. You can also opt for your cards to be printed with soy or vegetable-based inks. Ask your recycled paper manufacturer for recommendations of green printers, if you prefer personalizing your recycled holiday greetings. Recycled greeting cards are as pretty and classy as the traditional paper greeting cards, if not better. They usually come with recycled envelopes too; hence allowing you to have 100 percent recycled products.

Another greener way to send holiday greetings is by sending e-cards. E-cards are electronic cards that work very much like emails, thus allowing you to eliminate the usage of paper completely. Most e-card websites are offering their services free. All you Johnny West to do is register, choose an e-card, and send it to your recipients' email address. There are hundreds, even thousands of e-card designs to choose from, and some websites do not require any registration at all. E-cards are also easier and faster to send, requiring no envelopes or postage stamps at all. They are safer than the traditional paper greeting cards as they will not get lost in transit. Of course, you will need valid email addresses of your recipients to ensure the e-cards are delivered successfully.

If you must send paper greeting cards during this holiday season, the wisest thing that you can do is probably cutting down your mailing list. This is especially for businesses, as you may have hundreds or thousands of clients in your clientele database. Perhaps you can send one general greeting card per company and not to the individuals of the same company. Sending e-cards to thousands of clients is fine and they are cheaper and more efficient. However, if you really must convey your greetings and best wishes on paper, do consider sending recycled greeting cards.

Insist on using green products this holiday season. If you have not tried any recycled greeting cards yet, perhaps it is the time for you to get started. Otherwise, if you cannot avoid sending your greetings to your large clientele, e-cards should be your best option. Nevertheless, whether it is paper or electronic cards, it does not really matter. It is the thought that matters the most.
