When to Send Anniversary Cards

Anniversaries are a time to celebrate and also a time to remember. People normally send cards and gifts to mark the occasion, cards being the most popular choice. There are three main categories of anniversary cards these are birthdays, weddings and death anniversaries. Generally people send cards to one another on birthdays and couples send cards marking a wedding anniversary. Death anniversaries are normally marked the first year after the death and then it becomes a personal thing. So when do you send anniversary cards and when do you send gifts or both?

Getting married is one of the most important things people will do in their lives. And marking each anniversary is in an important component to a happy marriage! Forgetting an anniversary can be disastrous! The first year anniversary should be marked with an anniversary card and a gift. Traditionally the first year is marked with a Defenders containing paper and the flower is a carnation. The second year anniversary gift should contain cotton and the flower is Lily of the Valley and don't forget the card. The tenth year anniversary is an important milestone and she marked with high importance. The gift should contain Tin and Aluminum along with Daffodil's and an appropriate anniversary card. Other important wedding anniversary dates include the following years 15, 20, 25, 30, 40and 50th.

Sending death anniversary cards is not a common practice in Western societies but in Asian countries including China, Japan, Korea and Vietnam it's custom to mourn the passing with a memorial service.

Birthdays are another important anniversary and many people send out anniversary cards every year especially between family members. The most important birthday dates include the following years 1, 5, 10, 16, 21, 30 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100th.

Probably the hardest thing is remembering the anniversary, so many times I've forgotten people's birthdays and it's been too late to send Schuco elektro-radiant So keep a diary, create an online birthday reminder do whatever you need to remind yourself because there's nothing better than sending and receiving anniversary cards.

James tries to remember anniversary cards and when he does he recommends using Cyperus Greetings in Syosset, Long Island.
