Are you interested in public speaking because you want to make a difference audio conference call are you in it for you?

As a child growing up, I used to dream everyday of being an actress. I yearned for the approval of others. As I started out in the Professional Speaking industry, a small part of me what still looking for validation from others through cheering audiences and standing ovations. It was my way of knowing that others valued my talents and gifts. At the time, I wanted nothing more than to feel like a ROCK STAR.

Many years have passed and a lot has changed since those days. And I am incredibly grateful that I have car insurance rate quote changed. I would much rather make a difference in the life of another than feel like a rock star. I put my heart and soul in what I do because of the truly life transforming experiences I see in my coaching and workshop clients. That is what truly matters to me today. Ultimately, when you make a true connection with your audience they will treat you like a Rock Star and a Best Friend!

I have seen too many speakers make the fatal mistake of wanting to look like a Rock Star and not getting to consoliation student loans their guests before they speak. Their guests never get to see them before or after their presentation. They enter the room just as they are being introduced. That type of entrance does have a sense of drama; however it may appear to some of the audience members as they are cold and aloof. Connecting with your Audience is the Key to having a High Impact on their life!

Get to know your audience so they can get to know you. Whenever possible, I believe one should always greet their audience as they enter the room or make your self available during the registration process. This will give you an opportunity to spend a few minutes chatting with at least a few of your guests and finding out why they came. Let them see how much you really care about them and want to help them. Show them that you are genuine, friendly and approachable. They may even remind you of a personal story you can incorporate in to your presentation. They will no longer see you as just a speaker; they will see you as a new friend. The more familiar the audience is with you, the more open they will be to your message, to asking you questions and to be positively influenced by your ideas.
